Busy, busy, busy!

Time is of the essence today so we’re grabbing five minutes in between taking orders and sending them out to give you a short but sweet update on our recent goings on, most of which are Diamond Jubilee themed!

Our Union bunting and Handwaving flags have gone down a storm, with an unprecedented amount of orders coming through the doors this last month. We hope everyone enjoys the Jubilee parties, parades and pageants – not to mention the long weekend. And watch this space… we’ll soon be turning our attention to the beautiful game as we get set for Euro 2012.

Customer Feedback

Thank you for your advice on the phone and for the prompt delivery of the flag and bunting.  I followed the instructions and checked before signing for the delivery.

Your management of the phone call was clear, pleasant and helpful, and the quality of the flag and bunting were better than I was expecting.

Many thanks,

Michael

Miles and miles of bunting for the Diamond Jubilee

It’s gone bunting mad here at Hampshire Flag as preparations for the Diamond Jubilee celebrations reach fever pitch!

Miles of Union Bunting

We’ve just produced our largest ever length of bunting – a staggering 6.5 miles of Union flags for a customer who’s organising a Jubilee festival.

And that’s not the only impressive order we’ve sent packing in the last week… 5.5 miles and 4 miles of Union flag bunting have also flown out the doors – the lengths our customers go to!

Union flag bunting has been our biggest seller by far with orders flooding in from schools, scout groups and colleges as well as councils and companies across the UK.   Our patriotic customers are also getting warmed up to give the Queen a royal wave with our Handwaving Union flags which are selling like hot cakes and our custom design flags featuring the distinctive official Diamond Jubilee logo appear to be loved by the nation too.

Red, white and blue will be wherever you turn in the coming weeks so let’s get set to hang the bunting and join in the Jubilee fun!

We are sailing…

… well, two of our flags will be next month when they take part in the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Pageant on the Thames.

We’ve just produced the Moray Flag and a red ensign for The Moray Gig, a traditional sail training vessel based at Findhorn in Moray, Scotland. The Gig will be representing the Lieutenancy of Moray as it flies the flags whilst sailing down the Thames on Sunday 3 June as part of a flotilla of 1000 vessels – it’s set to be an amazing sight!

We worked closely with the Moray Gig team to make sure the Moray Coat of Arms Standard was spot on and met the approval of the Ross Herald of Scotland.

It’s great to think that our flags will be taking centre stage in such a historical, high profile and prestigious occasion, and this is just one of many fascinating Diamond Jubilee orders we’ve got out the door in the last few weeks.

With less than one month to go we’re working around the clock on flags, banners and bunting galore to make sure our customers’ celebrations are fit for a Queen!
